About the position

The Golang Developer position at Suncap Technology is a long-term remote contract role focused on developing cloud-based software applications using the Go programming language. The role involves active participation in an agile software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design discussions, and implementation. The developer will also contribute to knowledge sharing and enhance customer experience through documentation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in an agile software development life-cycle, documenting and discussing design, estimation, and implementation.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot multi-layered, SOA structured, cloud-based software applications in Go.
• Develop rapid prototypes and participate in pair programming.
• Contribute to the knowledge base, wiki, and other resources to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in developing web applications with a portfolio of personal/work projects.
• Experience with an object-oriented language such as Go, Ruby, Python, PHP, or Java.
• Experience developing on Linux environments.
• Experience with containers and Terraform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Amazon EC2/S3 or other cloud services.
• Superb communication skills to work within and across teams.
