About the position

The Golang Developer with API position is a long-term contract role based in Plano, TX, requiring local candidates. The developer will be responsible for implementing AWS containers, utilizing Kubernetes for application development, and ensuring REST API access for enterprise-grade customers. The role involves collaboration with technical staff to maintain smooth DevOps workflows and managing multiple projects while adhering to design specifications and budget restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Implement AWS containers to support Go implementation and successful repository maintenance
• Utilize Kubernetes to ensure successful application development, deployment, and scaling
• Structure user interface with React and ensure REST API access for enterprise-grade customers on-demand
• Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure consistent and smooth DevOps workflows
• Choose and implement JavaScript libraries that optimize performance without sacrificing security and base functionality
• Manage multiple projects within reasonable design specifications and budget restrictions
• QA design for errors
• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
• Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
• Provable proficiency in Go programming
• Minimum of two years experience working in programming or information technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Hands-on experience in Java or Python is recommended
