About the position

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to lead the migration of Python-based applications to Golang within AWS Lambda. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining serverless applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a significant migration project using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of existing Python codebase to Golang on AWS Lambda.
• Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications in Golang and Python on AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in Golang.
• Ensure high-performance and availability by optimizing existing services.
• Build and deploy applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudFormation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, and identify optimization opportunities during the migration process.
• Maintain documentation and best practices for Golang development and AWS service integration.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang with experience building cloud-native applications.
• Strong Python experience, with knowledge of best practices and debugging techniques.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation.
• Experience in migrating services from Python to Golang in production environments.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven programming.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issues in cloud environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with other AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, and RDS.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud security and monitoring tools.
