About the position

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Go, Python, microservices, Kubernetes, and good knowledge of block storage (CEPH). The role involves extensive experience with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies, as well as experience with container networking and security within Kubernetes environments. The position is remote and requires 5-10 years of experience in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain existing systems, ensuring their reliability and performance
• Work on smaller, well-defined tasks under the direction of project leaders while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Document the design and implementation of new features and changes to the infrastructure
• Ability to work within a team and execute tasks under the direction of project leaders
• Contribute to the development of core product features and help accelerate the delivery of customer contract requirements
• Work extensively with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, Istio/Service mesh, microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, and QA

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Go, Python, microservices, Kubernetes, and block storage (CEPH)
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies
• Experience with container networking and security within Kubernetes environments
