We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This position is a contract role that allows for a hybrid work arrangement from day one. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Golang, with at least 2 years of experience in this programming language. Additionally, candidates should possess experience in at least one other programming language such as Java, .NET, or C++. The role requires a solid understanding of RESTful and/or SOAP services, as well as experience working in an Agile environment. Candidates should also be familiar with YAML and JSON file formats, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with SQL databases, including Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MongoDB. In addition to the required qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have a background in UI web design, utilizing technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred, along with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. A deep understanding of Microservices architecture is essential, including professional experience in the design, build, and operations of microservices in a production environment. Experience in designing data persistence systems using both SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, is also highly desirable.
