About the position

The Golang Developer position is focused on developing and implementing applications using Golang and other programming languages. The role requires a strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience with RESTful and SOAP services. The developer will work in an agile environment and may be involved in UI web design and data persistence systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Golang experience
• 1+ years of experience in an additional language (Java, .NET, or C++)
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful and/or SOAP services
• 2+ years agile experience
• 1+ years with YAML and JSON file formats
• 3+ years of SQL experience in Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MongoDB

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of UI web design utilizing HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
• 5+ years application development and implementation experience
• Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture
• Experience in designing data persistence systems using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB)
