About the position

The Golang Developer position is a long-term contract role based in Phoenix, AZ, requiring a strong background in software development with a focus on Golang and related technologies. The role involves designing and developing REST APIs, working in an Agile environment, and utilizing modern development stacks to create high-volume applications. Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs for high volume clients.
• Participate in application design, software development, and testing in an Agile environment.
• Utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab CI.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra.
• Implement container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate using Atlassian software development tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a modern development stack including Golang, Kafka, and REST API.
• Experience with application design, software development, and testing in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra.
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and apply programming concepts.
