About the position
The Golang Developer position is a contract role based in Charlotte, NC, requiring expertise in Golang and additional programming languages. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement applications using Golang and other programming languages.
- Design and build microservices in a production environment.
- Work with RESTful and SOAP services.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment.
- Utilize YAML and JSON file formats for configuration and data exchange.
- Design data persistence systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Golang.
- 1+ years of experience in an additional language such as Java, .NET, or C++.
- 2+ years of experience with RESTful and/or SOAP services.
- 2+ years of Agile experience.
- 1+ years of experience with YAML and JSON file formats.
- 3+ years of SQL experience with Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MongoDB.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of UI web design experience utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax.
- 5+ years of application development and implementation experience.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
