Actalent is seeking a Golang Developer to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with solving complex problems and collaborating with talented engineers who utilize cutting-edge technologies, including Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), to enhance the vehicle customer experience. We are looking for individuals who are not only innovative thinkers but also hands-on contributors who are eager to help us build exciting initiatives. This position will specifically support our infotainment project, which is critical to our mission of transforming customer interactions with vehicles. As a Golang Developer, you will be responsible for writing clean, concise, and maintainable code using the Go programming language. You will implement low-latency microservices utilizing the gRPC protocol, ensuring that our applications are efficient and responsive. Your production experience in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with your knowledge of CI/CD processes and containerization, will be essential in delivering robust solutions. In addition to your coding skills, you will leverage your strong experience in test automation frameworks to optimize performance and security, enabling the delivery of a maintainable architecture. Experience with large-scale, high-availability, and highly distributed applications is a plus, as is familiarity with observability tooling like DataDog. While a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is valued, we believe that talent and experience are the most important factors in this role, and we welcome applicants who can demonstrate their capabilities regardless of formal education.
