About the position

The Golang Developer position is focused on developing and implementing applications using Golang and other programming languages. The role requires a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP services, as well as experience in agile methodologies. The developer will work on both backend and UI components, contributing to the design and architecture of microservices in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement applications using Golang and other programming languages.
• Work with RESTful and SOAP services to integrate various systems.
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to team sprints.
• Design and implement UI components using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Design data persistence systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Golang development.
• 1+ years of experience in an additional language such as Java, .NET, or C++.
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful and/or SOAP services.
• 2+ years of experience working in an agile environment.
• 1+ years of experience with YAML and JSON file formats.
• 3+ years of SQL experience with Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MongoDB.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of UI web design experience utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax.
• 5+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and experience in design, build, and operations of microservices.
