About the position

The Golang Developer position is focused on contributing to a long-term project in Charlotte, NC. The role requires expertise in Golang and experience with various programming languages and technologies, particularly in developing and implementing applications in a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Golang.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful and SOAP services.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
• Work with YAML and JSON file formats for configuration and data exchange.
• Utilize SQL databases such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB for data management.
• Design and implement UI web components using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Golang development.
• 1+ years of experience in an additional programming language such as Java, .NET, or C++.
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful and/or SOAP services.
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
• 1+ years of experience with YAML and JSON file formats.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL in Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MongoDB.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience in UI web design using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax.
• 5+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and experience in designing, building, and operating microservices in a production environment.
• Experience in designing data persistence systems using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB).
