About the position

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join our dynamic team at Business Needs Inc. in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with Golang, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Golang.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using React.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on projects.
• Develop APIs and work with JSON data formats for seamless data interchange.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Work with databases using T-SQL and assist in data modeling as needed.
• Collaborate with team members using tools such as TFS for project management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang and experience in software development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies, particularly React, is a plus.
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically GitHub.
• Understanding of data interchange formats like JSON.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python is a nice-to-have but not required.
• Familiarity with ADO.NET is advantageous for database interactions.
