About the position

The Golang Developer position at Infosys involves contributing to a project team focused on developing, integrating, deploying, and maintaining backend systems and applications primarily using Golang. Responsibilities

• Develop, create, integrate, deploy, and maintain backend systems and applications using Golang.
• Swiftly respond to service requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Guide users through problem-solving steps and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Install and configure software as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Golang, Apache Kafka, and SQL or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL, or Oracle).
• Proficient in Golang fundamentals, including data structures like Maps, Slices, and generics.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 2 years of experience with Golang frameworks like Gin-Gonic, Gorilla Mux, and Go-Chi for RESTful API development.
• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and Agile work environments.
• Good experience in REST API development and distributed systems concepts.
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines.
