About the position

Ampcus Inc is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team as a Golang Developer in New York, NY. This position requires a passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and actively participating in both internal and external technology communities. The ideal candidate will also be expected to mentor other members of the engineering community and, from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Tech lead and product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences, ultimately helping millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment. You will utilize a variety of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Additionally, you will work with Container Orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, and leverage a variety of AWS tools and services to enhance our technology offerings.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies.
• Participate in internal and external technology communities.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with Tech lead and product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Golang, and others to develop software.
• Work with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Use Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leverage AWS tools and services for development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Java, Golang, and AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Go.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
• 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
