About the position

Jacobs Entertainment is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for Gold Dust West Elko, a property that boasts a modern interior equipped with the latest slot machines and table games, including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. The property is complemented by an 80-room Hampton Inn located across the parking lot, which offers amenities such as Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a complimentary hot breakfast for all guests. The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and promoting the casino's offerings through various marketing initiatives. In this position, the Marketing Coordinator will act as a personal casino host for Gold Rewards Club Premium Players. This includes maintaining knowledge of their play and ensuring regular contact through various means such as direct attention on the casino floor, note cards, and phone calls. The role also involves resolving any issues or perceived inconveniences to guarantee guest satisfaction. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing, managing, and monitoring all casino promotions, which encompasses overseeing rules and regulations, signage, and instructions for personnel involved in promotions. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in hosting various events, including monthly birthday parties, drawings, and holiday parties. They will also be tasked with maintaining and replacing all marketing collateral on the casino floor and managing the control and ordering of all marketing inventory. This position is integral to the marketing efforts of Gold Dust West Elko and offers opportunities for professional growth within the company, as many supervisors and managers are promoted from within.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a personal casino host to Gold Rewards Club Premium Players, maintaining contact and knowledge of their play.
  • Resolve any problems or perceived inconveniences to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in marketing or customer service roles, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and software.
