About the position
The Process Maintenance Technician at Barrick Gold is responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work on process circuits and site buildings. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively to support the operational goals of the mining facility.
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled repair and maintenance work throughout the process circuits.
- Perform site building repairs and assigned preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability/experience in maintaining flotation equipment, pumps, conveying, and processing equipment.
- Ability to work from blueprints and drawings.
- Excellent safety and attendance record.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the job.
- Ability to work well with others and demonstrate teamwork.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and manlifts.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.
