About the position

Cart Leasing Inc is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on golf carts. This hands-on, field-based role involves ensuring equipment functionality, providing exceptional customer service, and requires physical labor and exposure to outdoor elements. The position is full-time with potential for overtime and weekend work, and compensation is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Routine organization and monitoring of inventory in the shop and in company vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of golf carts to identify potential issues.
• Repair or replace tires on site as necessary.
• Check battery water and engine oil levels for every cart serviced.
• Install accessories such as windshields, weather enclosures, top lights, signage, etc.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Tow trailers of various lengths to transport golf carts to and from our shop.
• Communicate effectively with customers and our office, providing clear explanations of the nature of the issue and the necessary repairs.
• Document all work performed, including the nature of the issue, the repairs made, and the outcome of the repair.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience as a Field Technician or in a similar role.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
• Experience with a multimeter is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry equipment and tools.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
