About the position
The Golf Club Fitter / Retail Sales Associate at PGA Tour Superstore is responsible for engaging customers in the Hard Goods areas, providing expert advice on golf equipment, and executing club fittings to enhance customer experience. This part-time role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers throughout the Hard Goods areas including Simulators, Putting Green, Club Repair, and Accessories.
- Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Execute Club Comparisons to help customers judge performance differences between clubs.
- Follow golf Club Fitting Protocol for accurate and efficient fittings.
- Operate Simulator and Launch Monitor technologies to provide fitting information.
- Make tailored equipment recommendations based on customer needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of golf retail sales experience.
- Minimum 1 year of golf fitting experience preferred.
- Basic golf industry and product knowledge, including club fitting principles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Simulator and Launch Monitor technologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
