The Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests while ensuring the beverage cart is stocked and maintained throughout the shift. This position involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors at the end of the shift. The attendant must check in with the captain or supervisor before leaving at the end of their shift to ensure all tasks are completed satisfactorily. In addition to stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies, the attendant is responsible for removing soiled wares from the bar top and tables, maintaining cleanliness and condition of work areas, and following all set-up guidelines. Adherence to company and safety policies is crucial, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. The attendant must complete safety training and certifications as required. The role requires a professional appearance and demeanor, as the attendant will welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Clear and professional communication is essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve common goals. The attendant must ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and be able to read and visually verify information in various formats. Physical demands of the job include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. The attendant must also possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. The ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps, is necessary. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
