About the position

The Golf Operations Coordinator is responsible for organizing and supervising the daily operations of the golf property and related facilities at Sandhill Crane Golf Club. This role involves managing outside service operations, assisting with the Golf Shop, Tournament Operations, and Golf Cart Fleet Maintenance, while ensuring excellent customer service to patrons. The position is exempt and non-bargaining, supervised by the Golf Operations Manager, and includes oversight of part-time, seasonal, volunteer, contractual, and temporary staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise daily operations of the golf property and related facilities.
• Manage all aspects of outside service operations.
• Assist the Golf Operations Manager with Golf Shop and Tournament Operations.
• Oversee daily golf operations and ensure excellent customer service.
• Enforce procedures and policies as described in the Sandhill Crane Golf Course Manual.
• Conduct training of staff and communicate effectively with the Management Team.
• Schedule part-time employees, volunteers, and contractual workers.
• Facilitate an active tournament schedule, including tee time assignments and scorecards.
• Ensure Golf Cart Fleet is cleaned and stocked appropriately.
• Respond to public inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare various reports including incident and daily rounds reports.
• Act as Manager on Duty and monitor daily operations as needed.

Requirements

• Three to five years of managerial or supervisory experience, preferably in golf or recreation.
• PGA Class A certification and/or degree from an accredited college or university in a golf-related area preferred.
• Two years of experience working at a golf facility, preferably in a managerial role.
• Valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• PGA Class A Member or Class B Associate status (preferred).
• Servsafe® Manager certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
