We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our innovative, growing company. The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for delivering revenue, margin, and market share goals for all client brands in the direct/indirect stores assigned to direct reports, Territory Sales Managers (TSMs). The ASM will execute strategic and tactical business development plans for the respective region to drive sales and market share growth at every location. This role requires maintaining relationships, alignment, and linkage between key individuals within the brand's sales channels, acting as the primary contact for DM level across the carrier partners. The ASM will manage activities through a team to build and maintain trusting relationships, train and engage store sales associates on products and devices, and promote and advocate products and brands. The Area Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of TSMs across a large geographic territory, whose primary role is to visit stores in an assigned region, build and maintain trusting relationships, train and engage store sales associates on products and devices, and promote and advocate products and brand to drive sell-through. The ASM is expected to empower team members to demonstrate thought leadership and decision-making by creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Establishing, fostering, and driving strong partnerships with carrier regional and field leadership is essential to enhance and promote brand engagement, identify key growth opportunities, and drive overall sell-through for the region. In this role, the ASM will inspire and motivate a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve assigned business targets, which will include prioritization of store visits during optimal store-traffic periods to maximize impact and meet training objectives. The ASM will form individual and team goals and execute plans to reach targets while directing sales resources to meet trade partner needs and channel requirements. Maintaining a highly visible presence both in person and virtually in the designated region is crucial, conducting regular field visits to ensure excellence and value-add from the TSMs' store engagements and training events. The ASM will also be responsible for budget management of market funds, conducting performance reviews, HR policies, training, hiring process, payroll, and other management responsibilities as required. The role demands a high level of adaptability to an ever-changing business landscape.
