About the position
The Google CCTV Camera Installer position at TEKsystems involves performing a hardware refresh in a secure data center environment. The role requires expertise in installing CCTV systems and cabling, specifically working with concrete walls and using appropriate tools. The project is expected to last for 45 days, and professionalism is essential due to the presence of Google employees on-site.
Responsibilities
- Install CCTV cameras and related hardware in a data center environment.
- Drill holes into concrete walls and mount cameras securely using tapcons.
- Ensure proper cabling and connectivity for the installed cameras.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while working in a secure site with Google employees present.
Requirements
- Proven experience in installing CCTV systems and cabling (cat6).
- Ability to work with hammer drills and other hand tools in concrete.
- Must possess personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic hand tools.
