About the position
The Google CCTV Camera Installer position involves performing a hardware refresh in a secure data center environment. The role requires expertise in installing CCTV systems and cabling, ensuring that all installations meet professional standards while adhering to strict security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Install CCTV cameras and related hardware in a data center environment.
- Drill holes into concrete walls using a hammer drill for camera mounting.
- Mount cameras securely using tapcons and ensure proper cabling is in place.
- Maintain professionalism while working in a secure site with Google employees present.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CCTV installation and cabling, specifically CAT6.
- Experience working with hammer drills and drilling into concrete.
- Possession of personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic hand tools.
