About the position

The Google Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP services into the program's architecture, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Google Cloud Platform resources such as Compute Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
• Automate deployment processes using infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance and costs.
• Integrate cloud-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with five (5) years or more experience; Master's degree with three (3) years or more experience; PhD with 0 years related experience. Relevant experience can substitute for degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services and tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with networking concepts in GCP (e.g., Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancing).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
