About the position

The Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer (ETL) role focuses on designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes, building data models, and creating data pipelines to handle large datasets. The position requires extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform, and aims to enhance data warehousing capabilities using modern big data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
• Build and maintain data models and data pipelines for large datasets.
• Develop data warehousing solutions using Google Cloud Platform services, particularly BigQuery.
• Translate complex data scenarios into SQL queries for data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of overall experience in building ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and big data solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience in building data models and data pipelines.
• Experience in building a data warehouse using cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform services.
• In-depth knowledge of big data solutions.
• Strong SQL knowledge to translate complex scenarios into queries.
• Strong programming experience in Java or Python.
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery and Dataflow.
