About the position
The Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer with SAP Hana is responsible for developing and implementing data solutions using SAP Hana technology and Google Cloud Platform tools. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture and hands-on programming skills to build and manage data lakes or data meshes, ensuring efficient data integration and transformation processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data solutions using SAP Hana and Google Cloud Platform technologies.
- Build and manage large Data Lakes, Lake houses, or Data Meshes.
- Utilize ETL/ELT tools and frameworks for data integration and transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines and workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP/Hana development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of SAP/Hana technology and architecture.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies such as Big Query, Dataflow, Data Fusion, and Pub Sub.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python and SQL.
- Prior knowledge of data warehousing.
