About the position
The Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer role is a contract position based in Parsippany, NJ, requiring extensive experience in data engineering within the Google Cloud ecosystem. Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using Google Cloud tools.
- Utilize Data Fusion, Big Query, and Cloud Composer for data integration and orchestration.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing tasks.
- Write advanced SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.
- Integrate APIs for data ingestion and processing.
- Manage workflows using Airflow and other orchestration tools.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform tools, including Data Fusion, Big Query, and Cloud Composer.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with API integration and data workflows.
- Familiarity with Airflow and other orchestration tools.
