About the position

The Google Cloud Platform Developer role is a full-time position based in Hartford, CT, requiring the candidate to work onsite five days a week. The primary focus of this role is to leverage Google Cloud Platform for ETL projects and data warehousing, ensuring the successful implementation of data pipelines and integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage data ingestion, extraction, transformation, loading, and validation processes.
• Participate in the design and development of data warehouse and mart solutions.
• Utilize Unix Shell scripting and SQL for data manipulation and processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in ETL projects.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and business intelligence projects.
• Proficiency in creating data pipelines and performing data validation.
• Strong knowledge of Unix Shell scripting and SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of the healthcare domain to interpret business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio development.
• Familiarity with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
