About the position

The Google Cloud Platform Developer role at Deloitte involves working within a collaborative environment to modernize technology solutions for government and public service clients. Responsibilities

• Define and implement CI/CD strategies using GCP native and third-party tools.
• Use Helm, Kustomize, and Root Sync for managing Kubernetes configurations.
• Integrate Kubernetes deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize and secure Kubernetes resources and workloads.
• Manage service accounts and access controls in GCP.
• Configure and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Cluster on GCP.
• Proficient with Helm, Kustomize, and other Kubernetes configuration tools.
• 4+ years of experience in integrating Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Scripting and automation skills with languages like Python or Bash.
• Knowledge on integrating third party security tools with CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance for this role if needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of GCP security, particularly related to IAM, service accounts, workload identity federation, and artifact registry.
• Completed DevOps certifications.
• Completed GCP certifications.
