About the position

The Google Cloud Platform Developer position at Intone Networks is a critical role focused on leveraging Google Cloud technologies to build and manage data analytics pipelines. This position requires a strong background in integrating various Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Cloud SQL and Big Query, to facilitate end-to-end data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Cloud SQL resources, implementing access controls through Identity and Access Management (IAM), and utilizing logging and monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance of cloud resources. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and constructing production data pipelines that span from data ingestion to consumption, particularly within a hybrid big data architecture. Proficiency in Python is essential, as you will be developing scripts to automate and streamline data processing tasks. Additionally, the position requires a solid understanding of SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), as well as experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. The successful candidate will also have experience integrating Microsoft Power BI with GCP, enabling effective data visualization and reporting capabilities. A strong grasp of security best practices for cloud environments is crucial, ensuring that all data handling complies with industry standards and regulations. This position is contract-based and requires an onsite presence in Atlanta, GA, making it essential for candidates to be located in or near the area.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Cloud SQL and Big Query with other GCP services for data analytics pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in integrating Cloud SQL and Big Query with GCP services.
• Experience managing Cloud SQL resources and setting up IAM access controls.
• Proficient in designing and building data pipelines using Python.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL Server and SSIS.
• 4+ years of ETL experience and knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI integration with GCP.
• Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.
