About the position

The Google Cloud Platform Developer role at Deloitte involves working within the US Delivery Center to assist with technology modernization efforts. Responsibilities

  • Define and implement CI/CD strategies using GCP native and third-party tools
  • Use Helm, Kustomize, and Root Sync for managing Kubernetes configurations
  • Integrate Kubernetes deployments with CI/CD pipelines
  • Optimize and secure Kubernetes resources and workloads
  • Manage service accounts and access controls in GCP
  • Configure and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Cluster on GCP
  • Proficient with Helm, Kustomize, and other Kubernetes configuration tools
  • 4+ years of experience in integrating Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Scripting and automation skills with languages like Python or Bash
  • Knowledge on integrating third party security tools with CI/CD pipelines
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance for this role if needed

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of GCP security, particularly related to IAM, service accounts, workload identity federation, and artifact registry
  • Completed DevOps certifications
  • Completed GCP certifications
