About the position

As a Security Engineer at Publicis Sapient, you will play a crucial role in delivering digital business transformation solutions. This individual contributor position focuses on Security Architecture and Threat Modeling, involving governance, evaluation of public cloud services, and conducting security reviews for Public Cloud Providers. You will collaborate with various teams to conduct technical architecture reviews, identify security opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical architecture reviews to identify security opportunities.
• Evaluate public cloud services and conduct security reviews for Public Cloud Providers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Information Security, Program Management, and Development teams.
• Identify exploitable threats and propose mitigation strategies.
• Provide operational security support to the cloud ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in security engineering.
• Proven offensive security-oriented mindset including vulnerability assessments and threat modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and understanding of Cloud security concepts.
• Familiarity with securing containers and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and attacker TTPs.
• Ability to deliver presentations to senior leaders in both technical and non-technical terms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with programming/scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Cloud security certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Container/Kubernetes certifications like CKA, CKAD, CKS.
• Other security certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, GXPN, GPEN, GCIH, GWAPT.
