About the position

The Google Solution Architect at Slalom, LLC is a leadership role focused on helping organizations solve complex technical problems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position involves engaging with clients to understand their business challenges and crafting scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. The role emphasizes collaboration with both internal teams and Google partners to deliver innovative solutions and drive sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Leverage business and technical expertise to engage with clients from engineers to CIOs.
• Shape and structure projects with a focus on client needs, including Multi-Cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to design scalable architectures that address critical business problems.
• Evaluate new GCP services and features, promoting best practices for marketing and delivery.
• Participate in sales activities, including marketing events and early-stage sales pursuits.
• Establish and expand relationships with Google sales and professional services teams.
• Support sales and pre-sales pursuits, develop repeatable solutions, and provide subject matter expertise during delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in a sales/pre-sales and delivery role.
• Ability to drive engagements to ensure success.
• Experience in shaping and winning sales opportunities.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and/or other cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Oracle).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to navigate multiple teams effectively.
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred.
