About the position

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving product sellout within an assigned territory of 50+ carrier and retail stores. This role involves cultivating relationships with retail partners and field leadership to implement strategic initiatives aimed at increasing sales and market share of brand products. The TSM will also develop and track training programs for direct and indirect customer sales, ensuring effective training of store associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive increased sell through and market share for each store within the designated territory through a comprehensive approach including direct and indirect customer sales, associate training, and influencing store personnel at all levels
  • Build relationships and interact with retail partners to share knowledge through training to build brand advocacy, including group meetings, incentives, lunch & learns, and virtual trainings
  • Complete data collection for insights and daily activities using Mosaic systems, providing market level reporting including market intelligence and competitive activity
  • Train and influence Retail Sales Associates to engage store sales associates and customers on products and devices
  • Maintain a highly visible and consistent presence in designated retail stores within assigned territory
  • Ensure product display in-store is consistent with Retailer's planogram guidelines and that devices are cleaned and functioning properly
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 - 8+ years combined sales and/or retail sales experience preferred with strong relative experience in retail business and/or wireless
  • 3+ years' supervisor/management experience managing direct reports in a retail and/or retail sales field
  • Ability to schedule/lead/record virtual training and events with minimal support
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity
  • Proven experience managing and tracking performance against assigned directives and KPIs
  • Proven experience collecting and reporting information on competitive product and service offerings to management
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with retail partner store and regional field leadership
  • Ability to work directly with store management and team members in a sales-driven retail environment
  • Ability to prioritize store visits during optimal store-traffic periods
  • Knowledgeable in analyzing sales and market/territory data
