About the position

The Government Compliance Senior Manager at Anduril Industries is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards across various contractor business systems. This role involves evaluating current processes, collaborating with operational leads, and improving compliance and efficiency within the finance team. The position requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, as it involves leading internal reviews, preparing reports, and participating in government audits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of DFARS contractor business system compliant policies, procedures, desk guides, and processes.
  • Conduct internal staff assist visits to review contractor business system processes to ensure consistency with Anduril policy and DFARS requirements.
  • Perform internal reviews of accounting practices to ensure consistency with Anduril's disclosure statements and the Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Assist operational leads in implementing process improvements to improve internal processes for compliance, efficiency, and ease of audit support.
  • Document staff assist visits and maintain records of results to brief to Anduril leadership and government auditors.
  • Play an active role in government audits and maintain accountability records.
  • Prepare a variety of reports relative to internal document statuses and system compliance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of government accounting or contracting experience including expert knowledge of DFARS contractor business systems and Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Experience in auditing or performing internal reviews of contractor processes.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to develop detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Ability to lead multifunctional groups to improve complex processes.
