About the position

The Radiant Logic Engineer position at EY focuses on providing support as an Identity Management Directory Services Administrator within the Government and Public Sector practice. This role involves the administration of LDAP/Directory Services products, implementation of cybersecurity measures, and collaboration with clients to enhance their operational capabilities. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining and configuring systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, and driving improvements in processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of LDAP/Directory Services products in Identity and Access Management, such as Red Hat Directory Server and RadiantOne Identity Data Platform.
  • Applying fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
  • Maintaining collaboration sites for onboarding documentation and access to OIT CM tools.
  • Ongoing development support for new policy creation and COTS software configuration.
  • Supporting the review of existing processes and implementing efficiency improvements, including automation of manual activities.
  • Performing installations and configurations for LDAP/Directory Services products and SSO products like Shibboleth.
  • Responsible for performing patching and system updates as necessary.
  • Analyzing and resolving infrastructure issues between LDAP/Directory Services products and enterprise environments.
  • Interfacing with customers to support onboarding activities.
  • Using tools such as Splunk for auditing and logging with LDAP/Directory Services products.
  • Providing knowledge transfer and hands-on training to other team members.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation of all installations, upgrades, and change requests.
  • Monitoring progress and managing risk while keeping stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Leveraging knowledge of industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues and communicating this to the engagement team.
  • Developing and reviewing reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
  • Assisting staff by providing mentorship and coaching to grow their technical and consulting skills.
  • Working closely with the engagement manager to co-lead and own multiple parts of the engagement delivery.
  • Delivering quality client services and driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a related role.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level clearance or higher.
  • Must be comfortable working onsite in the greater Washington, DC area as needed.
  • Experience in cybersecurity assessments, IT and cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and controls.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional Certification or Master's in IT, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field(s).
  • Experience working with government client(s).
