About the position

The Government Information Security Product Manager at Intel plays a crucial role in driving business value realization within the United States Government Cross Domain Services group. This position is part of Intel's Government Information Technology and Security (GITS) organization, which focuses on providing secure products and services that meet U.S. regulatory requirements. The Product Manager will manage customer and stakeholder relationships, understand user requirements, continuously improve processes and technologies, co-develop strategies and roadmaps, and oversee the budget for owned solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customers and stakeholders for the systems environment, identifying and resolving dependencies between technologies.
  • Support Product Owners in key customer and stakeholder meetings, including auditors and InfoSec leadership.
  • Involve customers and stakeholders in train and team ceremonies where appropriate.
  • Educate key stakeholders and partners on environment processes and technologies.
  • Research the technical environment at Intel and in the marketplace to inform strategy and design.
  • Identify and understand users and user groups, continuously monitoring user needs and evolving the solution strategy accordingly.
  • Lead cross-APT discussions to improve the systems environment and attend APT Retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Develop Program level objectives, bridging Solution-level and Team-level objectives, and coordinate with product owners to prioritize Features/Epics in alignment with objectives and key results.
  • Own the budget for owned solutions, rolling up Product Owner budget items for each environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in technical skills across multiple domains, including network infrastructure, end-user applications, security policy creation, and IT infrastructure configuration.
  • 3+ years of experience in building strategic relationships with internal business customers and senior management, planning and managing IT needs, and translating customer needs into technical requirements.

  • Experience supporting pre-silicon design/validation environments
  • Experience enabling and supporting ITAR- and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) -compliant security controls
  • Experience supporting hybrid environments with virtualized, physical, local, and cloud-based deployments.
