Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Government Property and Asset Manager 2 to join our team in Roy, UT. This position will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program, which is critical to our national defense. The successful candidate will administer property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy. This role involves maintaining property accountability records, determining the condition of assets, and arranging for the disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. The manager will also conduct property audits, provide guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability, and develop, recommend, and implement property administration policies. Additionally, the position requires preparing periodic and special purpose reports related to taxes, rentals, leasing, insurance, and facility usage. The Government Property and Asset Manager will provide property management support to Sentinel and ICBM programs, ensuring strong customer relationships with program managers. The role involves managing assets throughout their life cycle and ensuring compliance with requirements and regulations, including FAR 245 and DFARS 245. The manager will work closely with management teams to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues, advising on critical project completion dates and developing alternative schedules and recovery plans as necessary. The position also includes performing data analysis to mitigate asset business system risk, identifying opportunities for improvement, and planning for resource requirements. The manager will support customer audits, safety audits, and internal contractor self-assessments as required, and provide management support to the property management team in support of the Sentinel and ICBM Sustainment contracts. In this role, the manager will oversee the Subcontractor Control program for the Strategic Deterrent Division, conduct property surveillance reviews at supplier/subcontractor sites, and collaborate with Buyers, Subcontract Administrators, and property custodians to ensure accountability of assets is maintained. The position requires a high level of management interaction with both internal and external customers, making it essential for the candidate to possess strong leadership and communication skills.
