About the position

The GPS Contracts Operations Senior Analyst at Deloitte plays a crucial role in supporting the Government and Public Services (GPS) Contracts team. This position requires a solid understanding of government and commercial procurement principles, as the analyst will be responsible for various contract and finance administration duties. The role involves populating key contractual information into systems, ensuring the accuracy of contracts and financial systems, and reviewing and processing solicitations, contracts, and modifications. The analyst will maintain a keen awareness of requirements and status associated with assigned actions, managing their portfolio efficiently while communicating effectively with peers, internal leadership, and Enabling Area teams. In this role, the analyst will review government solicitations and agreements, identifying key terms to determine contractual and financial requirements. They will enter contract and financial data into appropriate forms, databases, and systems, ensuring the integrity of the contractual and financial system data. The analyst will also organize, store, and catalog softcopy proposal and contract materials in accordance with stated policies and procedures. Active participation in data audits and interaction with other administrators and managers will be essential to ensure data accuracy and understanding across enabling organizations. Additional responsibilities include performing and coordinating contract and subcontract administration tasks such as invoice approval and management of subcontract annual representations and certifications. The analyst will interface with appropriate resources to resolve data discrepancies and support updates of internal and external policies and regulations that may affect the assigned team. Overall, this position requires a proactive approach to managing contract operations and ensuring compliance with established guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review government solicitations and agreements to identify key terms and determine contractual and financial requirements.
  • Enter contract and financial data into appropriate forms, databases, and systems related to assigned tasks.
  • Check existence, accuracy, and completeness of electronic documents related to contract agreements.
  • Organize, store, and catalog softcopy proposal/contract materials in accordance with stated policies and procedures.
  • Participate in data audits and interact with other administrators and managers to ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform and coordinate completion of contract and subcontract administration tasks such as invoice approval and management of subcontract annual representations and certifications.
  • Interface with appropriate resources to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support the update of internal and external policies and regulations as directed and communicate impacts to leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Nice-to-haves

  • Good working knowledge of government acquisition lifecycle
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with international and remote teams
  • Experience with Deltek's Costpoint
