About the position

At UnitedHealthcare, we are dedicated to simplifying the health care experience, creating healthier communities, and removing barriers to quality care. The Market Growth Manager will play a pivotal role in building and growing a productive, efficient, and compliant team of independent sales agents, third-party referral sources, and key internal and external strategic partners. This position is crucial in translating market strategies into specific tactics with measurable goals, and executing outreach and marketing strategies to achieve assigned sales targets across all channels. The Market Growth Manager will be responsible for mentoring and coaching key agents and agencies, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed. This includes onboarding new agents, sharing UHC learning and growth tools, and designing agent-level plans to facilitate successful early launches. The role also involves managing resource distribution, engaging in outbound call campaigns, and conducting market-specific training sessions to enhance product knowledge among agents and agencies. In addition to agent development, the Market Growth Manager will focus on multi-channel growth by promoting the UHC value proposition at various events, identifying marketing opportunities based on geographic nuances, and introducing Direct to Consumer (DTC) concepts in the community. The position requires strategic outreach to providers and community organizations, building relationships with community leaders, and negotiating terms for high-impact events. Data analysis is a key component of this role, as the Market Growth Manager will research sales trends, address disenrollment issues, and strategize efficiency gains through DTC initiatives. The position also involves oversight of lead distribution and participation in internal corporate workgroups to contribute to operational improvements. Overall, the Market Growth Manager will be instrumental in driving growth and ensuring compliance within the market.
