About the position
The GPR Analyst position at Penhall Technologies involves performing ground penetrating radar scans to identify and evaluate various underground structures and utilities. The role requires direct client interaction, data documentation, and report writing, with a strong emphasis on technical aptitude and communication skills. Extensive training is provided to equip candidates with the necessary skills for success in this growing field.
Responsibilities
- Perform ground penetrating radar scans at customer sites, primarily construction sites.
- Identify, locate, and evaluate underground structures such as metallic and plastic pipes, rebar, post-tension cables, and utilities.
- Document critical data and write comprehensive reports on findings.
- Communicate findings effectively to clients and provide professional service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience with GPR, concrete scanning, utility location, or general construction is a plus.
- Excellent communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to write reports and document data accurately.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver's license and good driving history.
