About the position

The GPS Future Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the strategic planning and operational execution of GPS programs at Peterson Space Force Base. This position requires a deep understanding of GPS systems, operational requirements, and the ability to analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making processes. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including military personnel, engineers, and program managers, to ensure that GPS operations align with national security objectives and operational readiness requirements. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of GPS operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance the effectiveness of GPS missions. The position will also involve the development of reports and presentations to communicate findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders. The analyst will need to stay abreast of technological advancements in GPS and related fields, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of operational capabilities. The GPS Future Operations Analyst will also participate in cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and processes into existing operations. This includes evaluating the impact of proposed changes on current operations and providing recommendations for improvements. The analyst will be expected to contribute to the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for personnel on GPS operational procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analysis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations analysis or a related field, preferably within the defense or aerospace sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or similar applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
