About the position

The Training and Support Specialist at Deloitte will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of healthcare programs by developing and delivering training to end users. This position involves collaboration with IT and Operations teams to support Examiners in utilizing technology effectively, while also identifying and implementing improvements in processes and system functionalities. The role is part of Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice, which focuses on transforming core business operations for government clients and public institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for end users on technology usage.
  • Provide ongoing support to Examiners in utilizing technology effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify process improvements.
  • Implement enhancements to existing procedures, reporting, and system functionalities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in MDE program (medical disability examination) and/or DBQ experience (disability benefits questionnaire).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel 25% on average.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6 months of Healthcare Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience in end-user training support.
  • Vendor experience with MDEO (medical disability examination office).
  • Experience conducting reviews of medical exam documentation according to medical and legal requirements.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Medical benefit experience.
  • Possession of a medical license (LVN, RN, etc.).
