About the position

The R&D Knowledge and Learning Grad Intern at Amgen plays a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of educational content for pre-congress calls and related events. This position involves collaboration with learning professionals across various therapeutic areas to create engaging and informative learning resources, ensuring that materials are delivered on time and meet the needs of diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and learning professionals to gather information for content creation.
  • Design and develop learning resources to support programs across therapeutic areas.
  • Manage timelines and deadlines for content creation, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain organized documentation of content versions, updates, and feedback.
  • Incorporate interactive elements to enhance participant engagement during learning calls.
  • Utilize various instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Collect feedback from participants to continuously improve learning materials.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master's, PharmD, or PhD program from an accredited college or university, having completed the first year before the internship starts.
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts.
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Pharm.D., MD/DO, or PhD in a relevant medical science field (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacology).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Adaptability in navigating ambiguity and evolving circumstances.
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts.
