About the position

The Graduate Admissions Operations & Data Manager at BU Law is responsible for overseeing data collection, maintenance, analysis, and reporting for applicants throughout the enrollment process. This role aims to optimize enrollments in various graduate programs while ensuring the integrity of applicant records and compliance with visa-related documentation for international students. The manager serves as a liaison with the University's central graduate enrollment office and engages in data analysis to support enrollment management strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the electronic application process for all candidates and maintain individual candidates' application, scholarship, and admission records.
  • Ensure accuracy of applicant records and integrity of enrollment funnel data.
  • Verify that international applicants have submitted required visa-related documents and update their status in the system of record.
  • Transfer electronic records to the University's international student office for timely updates to SEVIS records and immigration document delivery.
  • Serve as the main liaison with the University's central graduate enrollment office for enrollment data integrity.
  • Engage in data analysis and reporting to discover actionable insights for enrollment management strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to admissions, marketing, and recruitment technology solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for all operational processes.
  • Respond to prospective student inquiries via emails and phone calls and participate in recruitment activities.
  • Train department staff and student workers on the proper use of database and technology systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics and reporting, with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience using historical data to project future results and forecast enrollments and revenue.
  • Proficient with technology, particularly database systems and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with higher education technology platforms preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required; experience in higher education admissions strongly preferred.

  • Experience with higher education technology platforms preferred.
