Halff Associates Inc. is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer specializing in Transportation to join their team in Corpus Christi, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to work directly under licensed Professional Engineers, gaining hands-on experience in transportation design activities and the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (P,S,&E). The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and develop their skills in transportation-related design, contributing to roadway plan production and 3D modeling. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be involved in creating detailed plan production and performing engineering-related computations and calculations. The position requires a solid understanding of transportation engineering principles and practices, as well as proficiency in CADD software. Experience with OpenRoads Designer is considered a bonus. Responsibilities

  • Work under a licensed Professional Engineer in the development of roadway plan production and 3D modeling.
  • Create detailed plan production in support of development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (P,S,&E).
  • Perform engineering-related computations and calculations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • EIT in the State of TX, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Knowledgeable of transportation engineering terminology and fundamentals.
  • Experience with Microstation, GeoPak, OpenRoads Designer or other related software is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with OpenRoads Designer is a bonus.
