About the position
The Graduate Civil Engineer position at Avove Limited is designed for recent graduates or those graduating in 2025, offering a two-year graduate program that combines hands-on experience with professional development. The role involves working within the Design & Construct teams to deliver projects related to wastewater and water networks, providing an opportunity to engage in various stages of project development from feasibility to construction.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking outline and detail design for projects under supervision and as part of a team.
- Assisting with design support activities during construction, including site visits, surveys, and inspections.
- Implementing project requirements to meet client specifications in accordance with relevant standards.
- Preparing and checking feasibility studies, technical reports, and other written documents ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Complying with the company's integrated management system including health & safety and environmental regulations.
- Preparing and checking design approaches, calculations, drawings, and documents.
Requirements
- Graduated in 2025 or within the last 12-24 months with at least a 2:2 degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Computer literate with good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Organized, self-driven, and attentive to detail with a desire for continuous development.
- A full driving license is required.
