As a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to sustainable development and innovative engineering solutions. Your role will involve designing power distribution systems, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, and grounding and lightning protection systems. You will conduct short circuit and overcurrent protection coordination, load and arc flash studies, and perform lighting photometric calculations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing circuitry for power and lighting devices and writing technical reports. You will have the opportunity to model electrical systems in 3D using Revit, contributing to the development of reports and electrical calculations. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with other disciplines and vendors to expand your knowledge and expertise. Participation in meetings is essential; you will be expected to listen, ask questions, and engage in discussions with architects and other professionals to enhance your learning experience.
