We invite you to join our Northeast Engineering Design Organization (EDO) as a Graduate Mechanical Drafter/Designer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mechanical / Process Engineering team. Your primary focus will be on the design of various mechanical process treatment systems and piping across the region. In this role, you will be involved in the preparation and revision of technical drawings for municipal, industrial, and environmental consulting services. You will adhere to corporate drafting and quality assurance standards, ensuring that all work meets the high expectations set by GHD. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with staff engineers and other designers on multi-discipline projects, contributing to a dynamic and energetic team environment. Responsibilities

  • Preparation and revision of technical drawings for municipal/industrial/environmental consulting services
  • Follow corporate drafting and quality assurance standards
  • Collaborate with other subject areas on multi-discipline projects
  • Work closely with staff engineers and other designers

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a Design/Drafting program
  • 0-3 years of drafting/design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD v2022 or newer
  • Experience working with 3D design software (i.e. Revit or Plant3D) is a plus
  • Knowledge of P&IDs and other construction drawings is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both within a team and independently
