About the position

Join our Water & Engineering Design team as a Graduate Process Mechanical Municipal Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, permitting, and construction of various Civil and Environmental engineering projects for both municipal and private clients. As a Graduate Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that will enhance your learning experience and professional development. You will assist in the development of supporting project information, which includes calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, and drawings. Additionally, you will perform construction phase engineering tasks such as submittal review and test data evaluation and compilation. Your role will also involve assisting with the development of drawings using AutoCAD and helping to create preliminary facilities layouts and designs. Maintaining open communication with project team members and project managers will be essential to ensure project success and collaboration within the team. Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning, design, permitting, and construction of Civil and Environmental engineering projects.
  • Develop supporting project information including calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, and drawings.
  • Perform construction phase engineering tasks such as submittal review and test data evaluation and compilation.
  • Assist with the development of drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Help develop preliminary facilities layouts and designs.
  • Maintain open communication with project team members and project managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience; internship or co-op experience preferred.
  • EIT preferred with intent to pursue Professional Engineering license.
  • Intermediate AutoCAD skills a plus but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Willingness to observe construction activities and complete field investigation.
